David Nassaney’s Book, Secrets From The Hammock, delivers nuggets of wisdom and guidance for our everyday experience.

When I picked up Dave’s book, Secrets from the Hammock, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I looked at the table of contents and saw that it was divided into 3 sections, Mind, Body and Spirit wisdom, I was definitely intrigued. As in integrative and holistic physician, I know that people cannot heal unless their mind body and spirit are aligned.

As I read through the book, I picked up Nuggets of wisdom in each section. David has an amazing and inspiring journey guided by faith and the love of his wife. He grapples with all the same issues we do. But with humility and love, he manages to shine a light of wisdom, of new perspective, of a way forward on the big and little issues we all deal with.

In these uncertain times, Dave’s book maps a path forward based on enduring and actionable principles. He’s motivated me to take action with his article on momentum. In his chapters on body wisdom, he reminds all of us readers to take care of our bodies. This is certainly a timely message in this time of Covid. His section on Spirit Wisdom is the most moving and profound of all. He reminds us that when we develop our spirit with gratitude, service, love and faith, that amazing things, little and big miracles, start to happen in our lives.

During these troubled times, this is a powerful book and a powerful message.

On the surface, David Nassaney is a thriving and successful entrepreneur who consistently surmounts impossible odds in his personal and professional life with tenacity, perseverance, grit, and old-fashioned “elbow grease.” Beneath the surface, Secrets from the Hammock: Uncommon Wisdom for UncommonTiimes, introduces the reader to a reflective, intentional, self-actualizing man who informs his mind, body, and spirit with Wisdom, the epitome of divine feminism. The Book of Wisdom, is an Old Testament book, believed to have been written 100 years before the birth of Christ. Some of the verses are written in the voice of King Solomon. The Book of Wisdom can be found in bibles published by the Catholic Church and her representatives.

The book is organized and structured beautifully, aligned with the Book of Proverbs 31 chapters. Each chapter concludes with a summary of secrets learned from the hammock, the place where Nassaney goes to listen to and receive the sacred feminine (found in Wisdom), within his divine masculine center. This is when the magic happens. One day while on his hammock, Nassaney observed a solitary red ant struggling with a dropped cake crumb. Many of us would see a red “fire” ant, sense danger, and want to kill it, or search for and destroy the source swarm. Instead, Nassaney marveled at the little ant struggling to stow the food on his own, contemplating the value of teamwork and support from others. Psychologist Abraham Maslow observed that self-actualizing people involved in a peak experience perceive the world independently of irrelevant human concerns. The ability to detach from human problems enables the perceiver to see more truly the nature of the experience. The peak experience is a fusion between the perceived and the perceiver that is ego-transcending and self-forgetful. Nassaney’s experience was no exception.

Secrets from the Hammock is a sincere and grateful sharing from a man who recognizes that his life could have turned out much differently had he not enlisted the feminine and masculine qualities of Wisdom and Solomon to bolster and support his inner witness and truth. Kudus to David Nassaney for his willingness to share his spirituality's depths with others.

Secrets from the hammock is a wonderful collection of wisdom and stories the author shares. Dave Nassaney's journey into wisdom is inspiring and encouraging. He faces lifes challenges but wisely spends time in his hammock asking God for wisdom. Each chapter is a joy to read as he gives insights that help mind, body and spirit. It is well written, and sometimes feel like Dave and I are hanging out in the backyard and he is mentoring me. Life is meant to be lived in the moment and Dave captures that and encourages you to do the same. This book will touch your soul and lift it, it will remind you to think, and maybe most importantly it will encourage you to take action.

Dave Nassaney always wanted wisdom. As a boy, he naively asked God for it after he heard the story of King Solomon. As a teenager, he found himself counseling friends and family when they needed answers.

Later, the “Caregiver Dave” syndicated radio show, became the #1 caregiver podcast in the U.S. It is a powerful platform, all over the world, helping listeners solve problems. His secret was taking time to relax on his backyard hammock where Wisdom revealed Herself.

From those nuggets, “Secrets from the Hammock, Uncommon Wisdom for Uncommon Times” was born. This book brings unique aspects of wisdom to the readers. Dave shares about Wisdom through his own stories, blessings and hardships.

He has written 31 chapters, which can be read daily or all at once. Embark now on an amazing journey with Dave as your tour guide understanding Wisdom’s many gifts.

Storyteller Dave Nassaney’s page-turner (Secrets from the Hammock, Uncommon Wisdom for Uncommon Times) seamlessly combines history, theology, psychology, philosophy, and epigenetics, with the peak potential movement. He reminds us that counsel woven from experience, reality, and love is uncommon wisdom. During these uncommon times, there’s no better anecdote to self-sabotage and tyranny than divine wisdom, and the courage to act on it. Courage, based on wisdom, changes everything!

A word of caution: if you read and apply the lessons and wisdom found in the pages of this book, you may find yourself living in the present and recognizing that your life is on a different trajectory. Fear not, however. That’s a GREAT thing! You’ll find your mind and heart will shift, and you’ll focus more on living a life of significance by serving those in your community, business, place of worship, and home. You’ll come to realize the beauty in the truth that success is actually the byproduct of living a life of significance.

Do the world, and yourself, a favor; go do something significant today. Now, go get ‘em!

It sure was a pleasure speaking on your radio show yesterday afternoon. I loved your enthusiastic warm-hearted, spontaneous, joyful genuine spirit. Being on your show was a blast for me, and I hope for you as well! You are exactly the kind of podcast for whom I’d like to speak! You exemplified being a model of what a caregiver should look like; compassion and perception; inclusion and high expectation! I look forward in keeping in touch and seeing you virtually or in person some day.

With gratitude and Infinite blessings.
